This is why a 1,000 year reign
on earth
is bad news!
If
it is true... Jesus
knew the Jews would reject him, was a coward! Many of the prophets spoke of
the rejection and death of Jesus. The teaching of Jesus was based on
His sacrifice for sin. Jesus did
not believe his own teaching.
If
it is true...Jesus
lied!
He said that some who were alive would see the kingdom come with
power. If the 1,000 year reign of Jesus is true, there are some people
walking around who are nearly 2,000 years old.
If
it is true...Jesus
deceived his disciples!
After his resurrections, Jesus, told them to wait in Jerusalem until
they received power. Later, Peter said this power was prophecied by
Joel.
If
it is true...The
Holy Spirit was wrong! The Holy Spirit inspired
Bible writers to tell us that Jesus did set
up his kingdom (the church).
If
it is true...God
sent Gabriel to Zechariah, (the father of John the baptizer) at the
wrong time. Part of John's message was that
whatever was going to happen would happen soon. The prophet Isaiah was
quoted by Gabriel. If this is all true, Isaiah must have been wrong.
