Lesson 11: James 5:7-12
The Lord is coming!
"James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes scattered among the nations: Greetings. Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds..."
(James 1:1,2)
The book of James was written just before he died in 64 A.D. The coming of the Lord
was most likely the same event Jesus talked about in Matthew 24, the destruction of the Jewish temple and city of Jerusalem in 70 A.D.
The prophets were examples of Patience.
Especially Job who persevered in extreme difficulty.

"Do not swear- not by heaven or earth or anything else. Let your 'Yes' be yes, and your 'No,' no, or you will be condemned."
