I Samuel 31
The Kingdom is torn out of Saul's hands.
Saul's army fled before the Philistines.
The Philistines killed Saul's sons...Jonathan, Abinadad and Malki-Shua.
The archers critically wounded Saul!
Saul knew he was going to die and told his armor-bearer to run him
through to save him from the abuse of the Phiistines.
The armor-bearer refused.
Saul took his own life by falling on his own sword.
His armor-bearer fell on his own sword and died with Saul.
The Israelites along the valley and across the Jordan River abandoned their towns and fled. The Philistines occupied their towns.
