What was done to secure
the tomb?
A large stone was rolled over the entrance to the
tomb!
The tomb was sealed with the official seal of
Rome!
If the seal was broken someone had to answer to Rome.
A Guard was placed at the tomb! The Jewish Pharisees and Scribes knew Jesus said
he would be raised on the
third day, so they got permission to put a guard at the tomb.
