Theme: Who is God? |
|
Major Concept:
God is All-Powerful |
Subconcepts:
1. God Controls Nature
2. God Controls Kings and Nations |
Teacher Focus:
It is important for each child to
understand that our God is all-powerful. This understanding will lead
children to a genuine respect for God and His Word. Each child should
learn that God created everything that he or she sees in nature. But,
just as important is an understanding that God controls nature, even
today. Each child should also understand that God has been in control
of nations and governments in the past, and continues to control
nations and governments today. These concepts will give children a
sense of security as they learn to trust in their Mighty God. |
