What does the Bible say about worship?

"
Thou shall not make for yourselves an idol in the form of anything in heaven above nor on the earth beneath or in the waters below. You  shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God..."
Exodus 20:4,5

"For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: 'To an Unknown God'. Now, what you worship as unknown I am going to proclaim to you."
Acts 17:23

"Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful song. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations."
Psalms 100:1-5

"For since the creation of the world God's invisible  qualities- his eternal power and divine nature- have been  clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him..."
Romans 1:20,21
