How can it be?
When all the other plants are doing "ordinary"
plant things, the Venus fly trap is springing and unspringing its special
leaves to catch and eat just about anything that happens to get caught in
the trap.
How does Venus know what to eat and how to set her trap? A rock will spring
the trap, but the trap will soon open because a rock is not something to
eat.
Is it possible, to say this animal plant just happened by chance is to
stretch the theory of evolution more than it can stretch.
