The belief that the movement of planets effects what happens to us!

From the beginning of time people believed in God.
(Romans 1:18-20)

When people decided not to follow God, God hid himself from them.

When people could not find God, they started looking for other ways to find out what was in the future...so they could be successful in life.

First, they started looking at the way birds fly, looking at the guts of animals, and watching the stars. Many people thought that what looked like movement of the stars across the sky contained special messages about the future. They did not understand the way planets circle the sun.

It did not take long for people to start worshiping the stars.
This is when astrology began!
