In ancient Babylonia, astronomy and astrology were together at first. But, they knew astronomy was based on careful observation and exact measurements of the movements of the stars and astrology was based on theory and superstition. So they were separated.

Astrology is very unreliable! There are almost as many approaches to astrology as there are astrologers. Isn't it curious that no controlled studies have ever been made to find out whether there is any real connection between the stars and human events? Why not! If it is true, it seems like the astrologers would want every person to see the evidence.

God makes it very plain:
"Since no man knows the future, who can tell him what is to come."
Ecclesiasted 8:7
