1. God took care of His chosen people Israel in the land of Egypt.

2. God endured the conduct of the Israelites for 40 years, but still overthrew 7 nations and gave Israel their Promised Land. 

3. Judges ruled from the death of Joshua until Samuel. At the end of this time the Israelites wanted a king. God gave them Saul. When God rejected Saul, he raised up David..."A man after My own heart.".

4. Jesus came from the lineage of David. John prepared the way by preaching repentance and baptism. The message of salvation was sent first to the Jews. The Jews rejected the message and killed Jesus. This was to fulfill prophecy.

5. Jesus was resurrected and showed himself to His disciples.

6. Therefore...the message of forgiveness is given to you. Make sure you do not reject the message and end up like others.

Paul and Barnabas were asked to teach again on the next Saturday.
