Farewell
to Ephesian Elders
|
|
Review chapter
19 to remember what happened in Ephesus.
|
|
Paul sent for the elders in
Ephesus.
|
|
"When
they arrived, he said to them: "You know how I lived the whole
time I was with you, from the first day I came into the province of
Asia. I served the Lord with great humility and with tears, although I
was severely tested by the plots of the Jews. You know that I have not
hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have
taught you publicly and from house to house. I have declared to both
Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have
faith in our Lord Jesus."
(Acts 20:18-21)

About Paul
|
|
I am
going to Jerusalem.
I will face prison and hardship.
My life is worth nothing, unless I can finish my work.
You will never see me again.

To the Ephesians
elders
|
|
Keep
watch over yourselves and the flock (church) the Lord
has given you.
Savage wolves will come from among you. They will not spare the
flock.
Be on Guard!
I supported myself to show you be example that by hard work you must help
the weak.
|
|
They
Prayed and Cried Together!
|
|
Then they went with him to the
ship.
