Farewell to Ephesian Elders

Review chapter 19 to remember what happened in Ephesus.

Paul sent for the elders in Ephesus.

"When they arrived, he said to them: "You know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I came into the province of Asia. I served the Lord with great humility and with tears, although I was severely tested by the plots of the Jews. You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house. I have declared to both Jews and Greeks that they must turn to God in repentance and have faith in our Lord Jesus."
(Acts 20:18-21)

About Paul

I am going to Jerusalem.
I will face prison and hardship.
My life is worth nothing, unless I can finish my work.
You will never see me again.

To the Ephesians elders

Keep watch over yourselves and the flock (church) the Lord has given you.
Savage wolves will come from among you. They will not spare the flock.
Be on Guard!
I supported myself to show you be example that by hard work you must help the weak.

They Prayed and Cried Together!

Then they went with him to the ship.
