believers in Lydda and healed a crippled man named Aeneas. When the people saw Aeneas was healed, many turned to the Lord. | |
| While Peter was in Lydda a believer named Dorcas who lived in Joppa died. | |

Joppa was near Lydda, so the believers sent for Peter. |
