Good Friend Found In Romans 16 Paul talks about a friend in Corinth named Erastus, the City Director of Public Works. The archaeological shovel uncovers all kinds of delightful things. In 1929 a Professor Shear found a pavement in the ruins of old Corinth... dated from the first century. Erastus, Curator of Public Buildings, laid this pavement at his own expense, was carved in the pavement. The book of Romans was written in about 57 A.D.. Was Pauls friend the Erastus found on the Corinthian road?
