We were once objects of God's
Wrath...
craving and following thoughts of the sinful
nature of the world. We are now raised
up with
Christ...made alive! because of the great love of God the
father.
"For it is by grace you have been
saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of
God- not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are
God's workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in
advance for us to do."
(Ephesians 2:8-10)
What did God prepare for us to do?
"We
continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by
faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by
hope in our Lord Jesus Christ."
(I Thessalonians 1:3)
"Then Jesus came to them and said, "All
authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Therefore go and make
disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and
of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
(Matthew 28:18-20)
