Lesson 6: Paul ministry and
the mystery
Read Ephesians 3:1-13
The Gentiles were not part of
the chosen
people of God.
They were separated from Christ. The Mystery: Through the gospel,
Gentiles would
share
in the promise inChrist Jesus. The Ephesians could understand
by reading the Word. (v. 4)was chosen to
preach the unsearchable riches
of Christ and
make plain the mystery.
God's
Intent
"His intent was that now, through the church,
the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and
authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose
which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(3:10-11)
