The Nature of God!

Was Israel Guided or Trapped?

Exodus 14:1-4
   The Israelites traveled almost straight to the top of the Red Sea.
   God told them to turn back and go down the coast of the Red Sea. This was strange because the mountains were on one side and the Red Sea was
on the other side.
    God wanted the Egyptians to think the Israelites were lost and confused, so Pharaoh could be show who was really God.
   When the Israelites got to where the red dot is on the map, the mountains suddenly went into the Red Sea. Their only escape was to go back up the coast...but the Egyptian army was now coming down the coast.

Were the Israelites trapped?
God proved his power one more time
as he provided a miraculous way of escape.

God proved He is the only God through the ten plagues.

God gives blessings, and takes them away!

God wants all people to love and serve Him!

God tells people exactly what he wants them to do!

God knows everyone will not love and serve Him!

God is patient, but judges those who do not serve Him!

The Escape!
