Thomas was not with the disciples when Jesus appeared to them earlier.

The rest of the disciples told him
"We have seen the Lord!"

Thomas Replied:
 "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it."

Was he really Doubting Thomas?

He did not actually see the resurrected Jesus.
He reacted the same way the other disciples did. He demanded proof!
 

One Week Later!

The disciples were in the same house and the door was locked. Jesus appeared again and said:

"Peace be with you!"

He spoke to Thomas!

"Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side.
Stop doubting and believe."

Thomas Believed!

"My Lord and my God!"
