Rahab
A Canaanite believer!
Joshua 2:8-21
Rahab was not an
Israelite. She lived in the wall of one of the most important cities in the
Promised Land.
Rahab
saved the lives of the two spies.
Rahab had heard what God
had done for the Israelites and she knew God had given her country to the
Israelites.
(Joshua 2:8,9)
Rahab was rewarded for
her faith!
She was included in the lineage of Jesus and praised for her
faith.
(Matthew 1:5 and Hebrews 11:31)
Rahab was
saved when Jericho was conquered!
The people who were in her house
were the only people not killed when the Israelites took the city of
Jericho.
(Joshua 2:17-20)
"By
faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed
with those who were disobedient."
(Hebrews 11:31)
