Jephthah? |
|
His father was Gilead, from
the city of Gilead.
His mother was a prostitute.
He was driven away by the other sons of Gilead.
He had no inheritance.
He ran away and settled in Tob.
He became the leader of a group of adventurers in Tob. |

He was a mighty warrior.
When the Ammonites made war on Israel, the elders of the city of Gilead went
to Jephthah. They wanted him to help them our of their trouble. |

You hate me! Why are you
here now? |
So! Help us anyway! |

If I God gives me the
victory, will I really be your head? |
As God is our witness, we
will certainly do as you ask. |

Jephthah went with them! |
They did what they promised! |
