1.The Promised Land of
Israel was a gift from God.
2. God told Israel to drive out the Canaanites and possess the land. He also
made it clear they were not to intermarry with or have anything to do with
the idols of His enemies.
3. The people in Canaan were enemies of God who had been been given hundreds
of years to repent. God's wrath on the Canaanites was because of their
wickedness.
4. God promised Israel blessings...if they continued to obey Him.
5. God warned them of the consequences of disobedience.
