	Judges Lesson 2: Chapter 1 Unfinished Business Purpose: "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope." (Romans 15:4) Major Concept: The law of Blessing and Cursing. (Deut. 28) Sub-concept: They did not obey God and drive out the people of Canaan. Refer to Drive Out Application: God's will was not being done! God warned them! Bad company corrupts! Refer back to Introduction. Memory: "They took possession of the hill country, but they were unable to drive the people from the plains, because they had iron chariots." (Judges 1:19b) Thought Question: If God told them to do it, why couldn't they do it?
