The Nazirite (Part 1)

What is the Nazirite Vow?
(Nazirite)
God does not command perfection, He commands trust and obedience.
Lessons:
1. Samson does not keep his Nazirite vow perfectly.
(He seeks out a Philistine wife and comes in contact with a dead body.)
2. God was looking for an occasion to confront the Philistines. (14:3,4)
3. The Spirit of God directs Samson. (14:19)
Application
1. We are not perfect, but we are
saved. (I John 1:5-10)
2. We are to stand firm against the devil. (Ephesians 6:10-18)
3. The Spirit works in our lives. (Romans 8:13-15)
