Lord, teach us to pray.
Luke 11:1-4

Father,
"Yet, O Lord, you are our father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand."
(Isaiah 64:8)

hallowed be your name,
"Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere him."
(Psalms 38:8)
your kingdom come.
"And he said to them. 'I tell you the truth, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God come with power.'"
(Mark 9:1)
Remember! Jesus is talking to his disciples. The Kingdom had not yet come. The kingdom (church) came in Acts 2. We can pray that all the people of the world will know about the church.
Give us each day our daily bread.
"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or read or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father fees them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
(Matthew 6:26)
Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
(Ephesians 4:32)
And lead us not into temptation.
"No Temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it."
(I Corinthians 10:13)
