Nazareth
was important enough to have a place of worship called a synagogue. |

The
leaders of the synagogue thought they were the best religious people
around.
|
|
Jesus
accused the religious leaders of rejecting him.
These people understood what
Jesus was saying when he told them God had not sent Elijah to and
Israelite women and Naaman was a Syrian. They knew he was saying God
was not with them...and proved he was right
by trying to kill him. |
|
Jesus just slipped
away!
