| Actual Bible Text- Luke 6:17-26 |
| Blessed are the Poor. |

"Listen,
my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of
the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised
those who love him? (James 2:5) |

"Do not love the
world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of
the Father is not in him" (I John 2:15) |

"Do not store up
for yourself treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and
where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves
treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not break in and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" (Matthew 6:19-21) |

who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their
hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God,
who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment." (I Timothy 6:17) |
