It is easy to call someone an absurd, unabashed, sham of a liar...without refuting the supposed lies that have been told. So Mark, the reasonable suggestion is for you to prove I am wrong.
What does faith in God have to do with evolution? Faith in evolution is against God!
Maybe I should be telling the children the Bible is not true because it says God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them in 6 days. Maybe I should tell the children that scientists have not really lied about the evidence...it just looks like it!
Maybe it would be good for me to tell the children science proves evolution...when there is no scientific evidence it does. Maybe that is why it is still called a theory.
Then maybe it would be good to tell the children Satan is the father of lies and you have listened to the lies without checking out the facts yourself.
And finally, maybe it would be good to tell children I have studied the issue for over 40 years,  but listened to a man who probably does not believe in the creative genius and ability of God to communicate the truth about creation. Or, since creation and evolution cannot be reconciled, maybe you just don't really believe in God at all!

My grandson had a different take on your statement:
I write this to you under the impression that you are of some faith.
I am not going to "slam" you or anything. I am actually very happy with your comment. Your intentions seem pure. I am glad that there are people who will stand up for their beliefs and fight against wrongful manipulations. But, I can't seem to find exactly where we have "forced" it upon children.
All we have said is backed up by the actual text in the Bible. No twisting or manipulating. I am not sure what part of our "interpretation" is "brainwash". If there is any part of this study site that does not coincide with the Bible, please let us know. We are not the 'gurus' of the Bible. We are all learning. And, as we learn, we strive for others to learn as well. This is why we presenting our studies to the children of the world.
I am getting the impression that you have gained the false sense that we are trying to reach children specifically, only because children can be impressionable. This is not the case. All of the knowledge is the same, it is just that different age groups prefer different methods of study.
We are not trying to gain anything here. We are sincerely trying to help people. I can tell you with absolute certainty, that the owner of this site would never intentionally harm a child.

Wow!! I was searching the web for ideas for children's lesson topics. My husband and I create family lessons and we with our three children learn that lesson every Sunday. All week we look for ways in our daily lives to apply the lesson. Re. "Why Do Bad Things Happen?" My answer to that question is very simple: Sin entered the world when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden. God Himself explained that the result of sin was much more than physical death. Sin was a "package" that included toil, hardship, pain, and experiencing all the other results that come with sin. I.e., illness and chronic disease (both mental and physical), tangled & unpleasant relationships, financial problems, loss of what we hold dear, feeling the unkindness of spiteful people, physical deterioration. ...we could go on and on. Everything we suffer on earth is part of the "package deal" that came along with SIN.
It sounds like sin is a serious matter! The questions is "What can we do about it?". This is one of the reasons for this site.

Your answers in the Ask Uncle Noah are way too blunt and not very "Christian like" considering you are writing to kids. Answers such as "That's not in the bible." do nothing to teach the kids. Expand your answers!
I appreciate your concern, and maybe you are right! Maybe a better answer would be: It grieves my heart to bring this to your young, inquiring attention, but the stated purpose of Ask Uncle Noah is to answer Bible Questions. Has it occurred to anyone who is moderating this website that the views and opinions expressed on here are incredibly biased and completely disregard the evolution theory? Why is it that you have made a website for children to feed them a load of stuff about how their teachers are wrong and that they should believe in the bible. Even if they choose not to believe their teachers it is still an important part of what should be taught and you cannot pass any exams without that knowledge. It is absolutely appalling that you feel it necessary to tell CHILDREN that their teachers are wrong. A better more productive comment would have been something like... "Everybody is entitled to their own opinion but the teachers are employed to teach what the scientists say is truth." Interested to hear your take. Richard
